Thanks to everyone who entered our raffle for Debbie. Although our numbers were few, the generous donations received were enough to raise over $800. My sis will be getting that money all in the mail to Debbie first thing next week and I have no doubts that she will be both touched and grateful for all of your efforts and well wishes. This was more than about the prizes--this was about showing another human being who has had the worst year of her life that there are complete strangers out there who would stand up and make a difference for HER. I hope and pray none of us ever lose everything we own in this world, but it's a comfort to know that there are still people out there that would give even when their own cups aren't full. So regardless if you did or did not draw prizes in the raffle today, we’re extending a tremendous heartfelt thank you to EACH of you for your help and I hope that you get the most satisfaction from knowing you've helped someone who couldn't possibly have helped herself.
